DueDock website is owned by DueDock (“DueDock,” “we,” “us,” “our”), based in Fort Bend County, Texas. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our bill-concierge service (the “Service”).
1) What this policy covers
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use/share it, how long we keep it, and your choices. It applies to our website, intake forms, email/SMS reminders, calendars, and client folders.
2) What we do not collect
We do not request or store: online-bank logins, full account numbers, Social Security numbers, or medical records. Please mask sensitive numbers you choose to share (e.g., ••••1234).
3) Personal information we collect
a) You provide
Contact details (name, email, phone/SMS; optional mailing address).
Bill basics: provider names, due dates, typical amounts, pay links/phone, masked account labels.
Preferences (pay schedule, reminder timing, language).
Payment details are handled by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe); we receive only limited billing metadata (no full card numbers).
b) Automatically from the website (“Device Information”)
When you visit, we may collect IP address, time zone, browser/device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and cookie identifiers for security, operations, and aggregate analytics.
4) Why we process your data (uses)
Provide the Service: build your Pay-Sprint, maintain a live calendar, send 5/2/1-day reminders.
Operate, protect, and improve the website and Service.
Communicate about your subscription, features, and policy updates.
Comply with law, prevent fraud/abuse, and enforce our Terms.
(EU/UK users: legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and consent—for example, for SMS.)
5) Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies for site functionality and may use analytics to understand usage in aggregate. You can control cookies in your browser. “Do Not Track” signals are not currently acted on.
6) SMS/email communications
By providing your phone/email, you consent to operational messages (reminders, weekly snapshots, service notices). Msg/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts; HELP for help. Stopping texts may affect reminder delivery; email alternatives are available.
7) How we share information
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for targeted advertising. We share only with:
Payment processor (e.g., Stripe) to process subscriptions;
Hosting/cloud & calendar providers to store Pay-Sprints and deliver calendar updates;
Email/SMS providers to send communications;
Service vendors under contract (confidentiality & security required);
Legal/Compliance when required by law or to protect rights/safety.
8) Data retention
While subscribed: we retain data to operate the Service.
After cancellation: we delete or de-identify within 90 days (routine backups may persist briefly).
You may request earlier deletion (see §10); we strive to remove active copies within ~48 hours of confirmation.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards (TLS encryption in transit, strong passwords/MFA on admin accounts, least-privilege access). No system is 100% secure; use the Service at your own risk.
10) Your choices & rights
Access/Update/Delete/Portability: email us to access, correct, export, or delete your data.
Communications: reply STOP to texts or use email unsubscribe links; you may switch to email-only reminders.
Cookies: manage via browser settings.
State & international rights: Depending on your location (e.g., Texas, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut; EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit processing. We do not sell or share data for targeted ads. Submit requests at [privacy@duedock.com] (or duedock@gmail.com if preferred). We will reasonably verify your request.
11) Children’s privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). Do not submit a child’s personal information. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it.
12) International transfers
We operate in the United States. If you access from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where laws may differ from your region.
13) Links to other websites
Our site may link to third-party sites (e.g., provider pay portals). We are not responsible for their practices—please review their privacy policies.
14) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the “Effective date” will change. If changes are material, we’ll notify you by email or on-site. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
